CTQs
List of critical to quality items (CTQs). This is a subset of the list of functional requirements. Functional requirements contain product functions at system level and CTQs at parameter level. This list is identical to the top list in the House of Quality.Importance
Table of importance values for the CTQs / functions. Values here usually come from one of prioritization methods (AHP, Priorities, ...). If there is a QFD 1 Matrix (House of Quality), importances are calculated by linear mapping from the VOC importances. The chart right of this table shows importance values as bar graphs.Benchmarking
The columns of this table are the competitive products and the predecessor of your new product. For each CTQ and competitor enter how good this product fullfills the technical requirement. You can use a drop down list with qualitative values (++, +, o, -, --) or enter real values. If you want to use real values, you have to edit the Scores table as well.Results
This table shows the calculated results of the benchmarking. The result is a score between 0 and 10 for each competing product, taking into account the importance of each CTQ and its score in the benchmarking table. The calculation uses the method of linear mapping.Scores
The calculation uses this table to map measurable values entered in the benchmarking table to the common 0 to 10 scale. For items that have a minimal acceptable value and get better with higher values, enter the first 3 columns. For items that get worse with higher values, enter the last 3 columns. For items that have an optimum to reach, enter all 5 columns.Specifications
Enter additional properties of the CTQs, e.g. target value, unit. Use the Difficulty column to assess how difficult it is to reach the target value. The system will calculate criticallity according to difficulty and importance: CTQs that are very imporant and difficult to reach are marked as critical.
