Solution Selection

Score solutions or options against a list of requirements. Define functional requirements (critical-to-quality requirements, CTQs), then evaluate solutions in a Pugh matrix.
This Template Provides the Following Worksheets:
- CTQs: define criteria to be used on the Pugh matrix for scoring.
- CTQ AHP Prioritization: rank criteria for the Pugh matrix.
- Pugh Matrix (CTQs): score solutions (concepts from the Morphological Box) against criteria
What to Add or Combine:
- Requirements Analysis: Collect and cluster voice of customer (VOC) requirements, prioritize using Analytical Hierarchy Process pairwise comparison, define CTQs and summarize in a House of Quality. Use ranked CTQs from the House of Quality or CTQ-Tree as an input to conceptual design.
