   Causal Loop Analysis: use this diagram to document system elements and relationships between them. Causal loop analysis uses the five basic types of relationships introduced with the boundary diagram: physically touching, information exchange, material exchange, energy transfer, human machine interface. These categories of relationships can be adapted or refined as needed.
